  Synopsis
  In an arid Spain, battered by a stifling sun, the few rains are torrential and overflow the river beds causing floods. Ignorance, fanaticism and misery are exploited by beings who fight for a bite while trying to keep their false honor intact. In this panorama, Lazarillo, the boy, wanders among ruined towns that were once dreams of progress. He passes from hand to hand, serving masters and lords, learning from them hard lessons on how to survive. But what year are we in? Is it 1550 or 2050? Is all this before or after the climate disaster? To look at Lazarillo is to look at the past and the future at the same time, it is to caress the past with the relief of having overcome it and pale before the warning of the future that he reveals to us.
