Here are most of the songs from the 1936 British film musical film “Land Without Music” featuring the famous tenor Richard Tauber. (Taken from a decent 16mm full length print). (The film was also released in the UK on the 9.5mm ‘home movie’ film gauge as T.9103 shortened a little) This clip begins with the titles and “Fernando” sung by a chorus. Then “The Coach Song” as Tauber arrives at Lucco. When he discovers the ban on music he sings “You Must Have Music”. Later he meets the Princess out riding and sings “Smile For Me”. At the secret concert Richard Tauber sings “Simple Little Melody” . Finally with the revolution sorted, he sings “Heaven In A Song”.
