    The famous opera La Traviata was inspired by Giuseppe Verdi by the novel by Alexandre Dumas fils, The Lady of the Camellias. Excerpts from these two versions, as well as a passage from Henri Sauguet’s ballet, follow one another. Scenes played by Jacques Ciron, Michel Nastorg and Pierre Leproux link the versions.
    Additional information:
    The dramatic version is played by Régine Blaess, Michel Ruhl and Michèle Persane. The lyrical version is performed by Andrée Esposito and Alain Vanzo. And the choreographic version features Claude Bessy and Cyril Atanassoff.
