ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
In Storm and Urge, we follow five rambunctious candidates, ready for the relationship market. At least, that’s what they think, they hope so. We see it tested on the day you come to see the performance. You will witness an annual ritual, call it a love contest. The Goddess of Love and ‘referee’ Melibeo will determine the relationship suitability of Amaranta, Nerina, Celia, Fileno and Perruchetto on the basis of a number of love tests.
But business goes differently than thought. And that seems to have everything to do with Melibeo, who is coming to replace the flu-like, fixed game leader for once this year. There are restrictions that make dating almost impossible. And the assignments that have to be done begin to deviate from the traditional love trials in such a way that doubts grow among the five players.
Who is that Melibeo, which seems to be becoming increasingly curious and terrifying? And what is the role of the Goddess in all of this? Is the image Melibeo paints of her? How much courage do the candidates have to find out the truth, if Melibeo is the man who will award (or not) the coveted love certificates at the end of the day?
