ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Queen of the Ball , a unique operetta dedicated to Hajduk, premiered in 1926 on the occasion of the club’s 15th anniversary. This made Hajduk the only football club in the world with its own operetta.
A charming story set in the 1920s, from Hajduk’s stadium and the exciting match with the English, through Malta, and all the way back to Split. Along with the passions of sports, the love story between football star Slavko and the beautiful Split girl Mile intertwines, while typical Split humor and a gallery of colorful characters round out this cheerful and unique musical and stage treat.
