ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
SYNOPSIS:
The story unfolds in an inn near the Romanian-Ukrainian border at the start of the Russian Revolution, as Bolsheviks and supporters of the Tsarist regime clash and the population flees in despair. Meanwhile, a love story blossoms between a representative of each side: Pedro Stakof, a commissar in the Bolshevik militia, and Katiuska, a member of the Russian imperial family. In this dramatic atmosphere, the inn’s inhabitants navigate the arrival of supporters from both sides, navigating relationships rife with roguery, love affairs, and the pursuit of wealth.
