ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
A musical teleplay based on Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera Kashchei the Deathless is perhaps the most enigmatic figure in Russian fairy tales. We invite you to watch a television musical performance based on the opera by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, created by director Nikolai Khrobko in 1969. Let’s fast forward to the kingdom of Kashchei, where it is dull and gloomy. Here the Princess Beloved Beauty languishes in confinement, who was forcibly separated from her beloved Prince. The brave knight, with the help of Storm-Bogatyr, tries to find a bride, but Kashchei’s daughter interferes with him.
