Erkegali Rahmadiuly Rahmadiev ( August 1, 1932 , Shubartau district , Semey region , Madeniet village – April 9, 2013 , Almaty ) is a composer , People’s Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR, professor. Almaty State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Professor E. G. He graduated from Brusilovsky’s composition class.
He is one of the founders of the symphonic music genre, which is a national feature of Kazakh music. His artistic approach combines folk song material with modern musical language. Rakhmadiyev’s works: the operas “Kamar Sulu”, “Daybreak of the Field”, “Alpamys”, symphonic tunes “Dairabay”, “Kudasha-duman”, symphonic poems “Amankeldi”, “Tolgau”, cantata “Ayastan”, choral “Evening in Balkhash”. The poem is well known in Kazakhstan and abroad.
