As part of the open air international multi-genre festival Symphony of Art, José Cura will sing a selection of the most famous opera arias together with his two guests, mezzo-soprano Polina Shamaeva and soprano Eva Hornyáková.
Tenor José Cura is known for his unique interpretation of opera characters, but also for his unconventional and original concert performances. Thanks to the roles of great operatic characters, especially Verdi’s Othello and Saint-Saëns’ Samson, he became a regular on the stages of the most prestigious opera houses in the world – the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, the Bastille Opera, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Zurich Opera, the Royal Opera House, or Milan’s La Scala, but also the many prestigious awards he received during his career.
