Jasmina Jasna Šajnović ( Novi Sad ) is a Serbian coloratura soprano , champion of the Opera of the National Theater in Belgrade .

Biography
She was born in Novi Sad . She finished junior and senior music school and the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, in the class of prof. Blanche Danon. As a student, she was a soloist in: the Radio Choir in Sarajevo, the Academic Choir “Slobodan Princip Seljo”, with whom she won third place in the semi-professional category at the choir competition in Llangollen (Great Britain) at the age of sixteen (repertoire-great aria of the Countess from Mozart’s ” Marriage of Figaro” and the song of the national composer from the area where the contestant comes from, “Niz bašču”, by Milan Prebanda).

At the age of twenty-two, he enrolled in a master’s degree in Ljubljana with Antun Dermote, and obtained his master’s degree in the class of Ondina Ota Klasinc. For his master’s play, Lucia from Lammermoor, he received the ” Prešeren Award “, as well as the highest National award given for the best creation of a second-year student.

She completed her second master’s degree in Belgrade, in the class of professor Radmila Bakočević . She trained in Vienna , in the class of Sena Jurinac and Marija Sauer. After finishing the master class in Vienna, in the Concert Hall, she sang both arias of the Queen of the Night. She visited Arad (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), Krasnoyarsk (Russia), Kefalonia (Greece), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Zagreb (Croatia), Skopje (Macedonia), Vermont (USA). , in Vienna (Austria) and in France. She performed with all symphony and philharmonic orchestras in the former Yugoslav republics. In 1995, she was awarded the annual prize of the National Theater for the role of the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute , and was awarded the Golden Badge of the Cultural and Educational Community for her outstanding contribution to the spread of Serbian culture. For PGP-RTS, she recorded a compact disc with selected arias of the most difficult coloratura and lyrical style and a video cassette with arias that were currently in her repertoire. Her husband was a prominent Serbian conductor and university professor, Maestro Jovan Šajnović
