The maestro held two days of intensive classes with nine young talented performers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ulan-Ude, Voronezh, Ufa, the village of Stepanovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Yerevan (Armenia). The participants in the master classes, selected from more than 300 applicants, were given a unique opportunity to improve their vocal skills under the guidance of an outstanding opera singer.
The second day of the educational part of the VIII Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival took place on April 3.
The master class program for performers who passed the online selection was held in St. Petersburg within the walls of the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music.
The educational program is an integral part of the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival, which includes events featuring world-famous vocalists and young opera singers.
The VIII Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival will be held from September 19 to 28, 2025, in five cities of the Russian Far East. The program will open in Vladivostok, continue in Ussuriysk, Nakhodka and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and end in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The festival steadily expands its geography from year to year, introducing residents of different regions of the country to outstanding examples of opera art.
