ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Two Baroque operas
I list & lust (In cunning & desire) consists of two short comic operas that are 300 years old: La serva padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Pimpinone by Georg Philipp Telemann. The common theme is maidservants who scheme to get it on with their master and thereby rise in the social ranks.
We’re really going all out in this modernized and touring performance. It’s going to be fun and lively with musical humor where baroque music is accompanied by more modern elements.
