“Hliðarspor” is a new full-length Icelandic opera. Þórunn Guðmundsdóttir is the author of both the text and music. The opera is a continuation of The Barber of Seville and The Marriage of Figaro, based on the third play in Beaumarchais’ trilogy, which follows Figaro, Count Almaviva, and those connected to them.
