Help, help, the Globolinks! Opera Help, Help! Strange extraterrestrial creatures, the Globolinks, have landed and are about to invade the Earth, transforming the speech of all those they touch into incomprehensible electronic sounds.
Nothing seems able to annihilate them, except instrumental or sung music, to which they turn out to be allergic. This is enough to give glory to Mrs. Euterpova, music teacher somewhat neglected until then, suddenly promoted to savior of the universe, who would have “forgotten how to sing”…
In this humorous opera, a parody of 1950s science fiction films written by Gian Carlo Menotti in 1968, 28 years before the film “Mars attacks! by Tim Burton, farce also questions the relationship between “human” vocal and instrumental music and “inhuman” electronic music…
