ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Under the direction of Mr. Enrique Patrón de Rueda and a great cast, clearly from Sinaloa, applaud the best passages of Bizet’s work
Culiacán, Sin.- A resounding and overwhelming success, with an impressive Symphony Orchestra, a mezzo-soprano Oralia Castro who sang like never before in a role like “Carmen”, which suits her wonderfully; the tenor José Manuel Chú who showed why he is the best! The “Carmen” Opera Gala was an apotheosis of bravos and standing applause, at the Pablo de Villavicencio Theater.
Under the masterful concerted direction of Mtro. Enrique Patrón de Rueda, the gala presented this Thursday night was a round show with performances by two Opera Workshops (the one from Culiacán and the one from Mazatlán), and two Choirs (the one from the Sinaloa Opera and the Children’s Choir from Instituto Sinaloense de Cultura, and a host of young vocalists, eager to succeed and privileged voices that are polished daily in intense rehearsals.
