    Goya, with music elsewhere
The show is part of the series of the Disparates by Francisco de Goya, which reflect the darkness of the first stage of the absolutist reign of Ferdinand VII. They are dreamlike, surreal images, full of monsters, apparitions and proverbs that summarise popular wisdom. In this show, promoted by the Goya Foundation in Aragon, a 21st century artist is shown, alive, lucid, accompanied by musicians and designers who capture the most vibrant current events . The allegories of the Disparates are the image of the reality that Goya lives and of the ideological confrontation between two mentalities, two antithetical ways of being in the world. This representation shows the struggle between both forces, good and evil, which are the germ with which Goya breaks with classicism and bursts into modernity.

Goya, with music elsewhere, contextualizes these images in the production of an avant-garde musical show so that new generations can approach the figure of the painter . In short, it is the development of a “crazy” musical resolved in an overture, three acts and an epilogue, with a double aspect:

Cultural: it seeks to promote Goya’s work and bring the creative cultural world (music, design, lighting, scenography, theatre, etc.) closer to the general public.
Educational scope: the creation of this production involves students from higher artistic education centres in the autonomous community of Aragon.
