ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The “Singing Competition for Baroque Opera Pietro Antonio Cesti” initiated by Alessandro De Marchi has established itself as one of the most important in its field. Young singers from all over the world come together from August 23rd to 28th to take part and present their skills in front of an international and top-class jury. The talents sing for the honored main prize, participation in the Baroque Opera: Young in the following year, as well as engagements in high-ranking singing houses in Germany and abroad.
The big final concert of what is now the 14th competition is preceded by several preliminary rounds. These can be visited free of charge from August 23rd to 25th by all interested parties. At the eventful and exciting final concert on Sunday evening, the highly endowed prizes will be awarded to the finalists in several categories. Of course there is also an audience award. You can be part of the jury and vote for a young talent.
