  “Filandro” is a pastoral comedy in three acts with music to lyrics by Vincenzo Cassani, performed at the court in Dresden on the birthday of Her Royal and Electoral Majesty Princess Maria Antonia Walpurgis on the order of His Majesty Augustus III, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, on 18 July 1747. After its premiere at the Dresden court, Filandro was never performed.

  During BSB2020, the opera was to be performed in its entirety for the first time in 273 years. Due to restrictions, the audience and listeners were only able to attend a shortened version of the concert on 6 December 2020. For the same reason, the participation of the choir was abandoned, the parts marked with an asterisk were performed in an instrumental version.
