“Destination Mozart” is this year’s motto. The program of the opening concert highlights Wolfgang Amadé Mozart’s relationships with contemporaries and predecessors. The overture from Antonio Salieri’s “Les Danaïdes” can be heard, as well as Joseph Haydn’s cantata “Arianna a Naxos”, Mozart’s concert aria “Ch’io mi scordi di te?”, his piano concerto in D minor, and Christoph Willibald Gluck’s ballet “Don Juan ou Le Festin de pierre”.
