ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
This opera is shown for the first time in Azerbaijan. The goal of the organization is to introduce opera lovers to this opera, one of the pearls of Mozart’s creativity and world opera art.
All musical materials of the work – score, piano and orchestral sounds were presented to the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theater by the management of the Munich Opera Art Festival. Taking into account that the building of the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theater will be closed for repair and restoration in the near future, the management of the theater considered it appropriate to stage the play in concert version in order not to spend additional funds on the preparation of decorations. Because the dimensions of the new stage after the renovation will be drastically different from the current dimensions. A completely new production of this opera with rich decorations and costumes will be carried out after the completion of the renovation of the Theater, taking into account the possibilities and dimensions of the new stage
