ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
For Jorge Takla, scenic director of the show, one of the most special points of the montage is the actuality of its characters. “The themes raised by Mozart and his librettist’s dialogues are extremely current. We talk about harassment of different types, machismo, repression of women, topics that are still very much up to date”, highlights the director.
Takla recalls that all of this is handled with lightness and humor, in a light and fun way. Another important point for him is that Mozart’s music is extremely modern. “She brings the whole painting, the description of these extremely human and typical portraits, in a light, happy, romantic way when necessary, violent, with an extraordinary theatrical rhythm”, he says.
