De Madrid a París’ tells –and sings– the story of a most diverse group, who moved from Madrid to the French capital to attend the Universal Exposition of 1889, the moment when the inauguration of the famous Eiffel Tower took place.  The librettists José Jackson Veyán and Eusebio Sierra, together with the musicians Federico Chueca and Joaquín Valverde , reflect with this zarzuela a time when the prevailing mood was far from the current one, providing an interesting historical perspective in the Auditorium show
