100 years of György Ligeti: This must be celebrated! In May 2023, Ligeti would have turned 100 years old. That’s why this WDR@Philharmonie concert focuses on his life and work. The WDR Symphony Orchestra takes a closer look at Ligeti and his companions – with live visuals, sand painting and video art, the audience gets to know one of the most important Avantgarde-composers better.
This concert takes place as part of the Germany-wide ARD Week of Music.
