ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Pablo Sáinz-Villegas will perform Rodrigo’s Aranjuez Concerto, probably the most famous guitar concerto and one of the most original masterpieces of the 20th century, thanks to the extraordinary beauty of its central Adagio. Clara Mouriz will add a touch of authenticity to the music of Manuela de Falla’s ballet “The Tricorne”, with its beautiful orchestral music and unmistakable Spanish dance rhythms. In choosing Montsalvatge’s opulent Canciones Negras, the tempo slows down a bit, and Clara Mouriz’s voice fits perfectly. “Not New Year’s fireworks, you will be mesmerized by the earthy energy of the Danzas Fantásticas in Turina.
