Always looking for new repertoires, Jean-Marie Puissant chose to create, for the first time in Europe, this original work by Hyo-Won Woo, a Korean composer he met in Seoul, during the World Choral Symposium in 2014.
CREO is an oratorio whose subject is the Creation of the World. The combination of traditional Korean music, with its specific instruments and contemporary Western music generates new sounds and opens up beautiful perspectives. Hyo-Won Woo’s works are performed all over the world, in particular at the Niigata Festival, at the Los Angeles Master Chorale in 2011. The concert will be enhanced by a video creation by Thibault Zuccari, illustrating the text of the Bible
