In memory of the notary Mario Orlandoni, a passionate lover of music, the Giosuè Carducci Association, in agreement with the family, annually awards a prize to be assigned to a young promise of opera.
To participate in the competition, the competitors must present a program of five opera arias ( performed in the original key and language) and must present themselves with a copy of the scores for the accompanying pianist. Competitors can choose to be accompanied by their own pianist; in this case, the expenses for the latter will be entirely at their expense
