The program opened with the piece “Miniatura” from said suite, and then the soprano Cristina Nakad, winner of the María Katzarava National Singing Competition, entered the scene, who offered a memorable version of the aria “O mio babbino caro”, by Puccini, and then the dancers enter with “Spanish Dance” and “Arab Dance”, from “The Nutcracker”.

Then, again Cristina Nakad with the aria “Je veux vivre” (from “Romeo and Juliet” by Charles Gounod), with which she was widely applauded, and then Luz Valeria Viveros (also winner of that contest) entered with a remarkable version of “Caro nome” (from “Rigoletto”, by Giuseppe Verdi), and Cristina returned with the “Vals de Musetta” (“Quando me vo”, from “La Bohemia”, by Verdi), to close this part with the Intermission of the zarzuela “La boda de Luis Alonso”, by Gerónimo Giménez and giving way to the zarzuela section.

Thus, Cristina sang the romance “Qué te importa que no venga” (from “Los claveles”, by José Serrano) and Luz Valeria sang “La tarántula”, a fun dance from the zarzuela “La tempranica”, by G. Giménez.

The second part, with the musicians of the orchestra wearing Christmas hats, was dedicated to these dates, with Christmas carols and songs from “The Nutcracker”: “Chinese dance”, with dancers on stage, “Sleigh ride” (by Leroy Anderson), orchestral, and then Cristina Nakda returns to the stage with “O Holy night” (Oh, holy night”, by Adolphe Adam), in an ethereal version.

The dancers returned with the “Vals de las flores”, in which the talent of Camila Govea shone, and then Luz Valeria sang a memorable version of “Gesu bambino”, by Pietro Yon, to close with the aforementioned “Silent Night”. .

But at the request of the public they granted a pylon, with a Latin piece, when both sopranos sang “Feliz Navidad”, by José Feliciano, this time, accompanied by the public in clapping and choirs, putting an end to a magical night, celebrated at the exit with hot punch and wind fritters for attendees.
