It is a work dedicated to his wife Alessandra Ruiz and has five orchestrated songs: ‘Cada momento que pasa’, ‘Mi tesoro incommensurable’, ‘Tres besos’, ‘Al despertar’ and ‘Mi tesoro inaudito’.
The public will also be able to listen to ‘Una aventura de Don Quixote’ and ‘Ten Basque melodies’, two works by the Basque composer Jesús Guridi.
Miguel A. Gómez-Martínez was principal conductor of the Orchestra of Valencia. He conducts the Staatskapelle Dresden, Vienna Philharmonic, Suisse Romande and Spanish orchestras, among others. As a conductor he has composed the Burlesque Suite, Spanish Requiem, Piano Concerto, Violin Concerto, the opera Atallah, Don Juan Tenorio, two symphonies, etc.
Juan Jesús Rodríguez is one of the main Verdian baritones on the international circuit. He has worked with outstanding conductors including Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel and Wladimir Jurowski.
