JUAN DURAN Spanish Composer (1960/09/19 – )
He has written chamber, vocal and symphonic music, as well as arrangements and orchestrations of Galician music. His compositions are deposited in the Galician Archive and have been published by Viso, Real Musical, Dos acordes, Dinsic, Editorial Rivera, etc. There are also records of his music on various CDs and DVDs. Between 1987 and 1997 he worked as a teacher at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de A Coruña. He was a founding member of the Galician Association of Composers in 1987, of which he became President, and between 2010 and 2018 he was a member of the Music and Performing Arts section of the Consello da Cultura Galega. In 2019 he was elected Full Member of the Galician Royal Academy of Arts, and in 2020 Corresponding Member of the Academy of Valencian Music.(Visited 77 times, 1 visits today)
