The new project of Ravenna Festival 2025. The meaning is in the words of Saint Augustine: ‘cantare amoris est’, singing belongs to those who love. A masterclass by Maestro Muti, open to all (amateur and professional choirs, expert and beginner singers, of any age and texture).
The project brought together over 3,000 professional and amateur choristers of all ages and voice types from across Italy to study and rehearse directly under Muti. [1, 2]- The Core Theme: Derived from a phrase by Saint Augustine, the project explores the civic and spiritual meaning of collective singing.
