AI Artificial Intelligence is the big trend today. Everybody talks about it and claims abound about AI being the future of the world.
Articles have been written about the impact of AI on Opera, in particular on production, design and composition of opera.

In this blog I would like to give you some tips, advice and examples how you can use AI for your interest in opera.
I have used AI myself now for over a year to help me with OperaonVideo publishing and maintenance.
AI can help you with the following tasks:
– finding information about an opera, composer, singer, performance and more
– finding videos
– finding librettos
First a word of warning. AI is helpful, but far from perfect.
The information it provides may be incomplete, not entirely correct and even outright wrong.
If you want to be sure, always double check what you are told.
There are many AI models and services available on the internet or as apps.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot just to mention a few.
Some of these offer specialized services for images and videos.
But we are looking for one which is good at answering questions and finding information.
In my experience Google is the most easy to use and it is free to use forever.
Google AI is available with Google Search and is powered by custom versions of the Gemini AI model.
To use it search Google (ask a question), then in the result click AI left in the menu bar.
Alternatively you can use AI here https://search.google/ways-to-search/ai-mode/
On phones (iPhone, Android) and tablets you can install the Google GEMINI App.
