The concert program “ALLA ITALIANA” includes arias and concertos from the rich heritage of Italian baroque composers. The program will feature hits such as the aria “Vo solcando un mar crudele” from Leonardo Vinci’s opera “Artaserse”, Vivaldi’s “Sol da te mio dolce” from the opera “Orlando Furioso”, “Morte col fiero aspetto” from Johann Adolf Hasse’s opera “Mark Antony and Cleopatra”, and other opera arias and music from Handel’s operas “Tamerlano”, “Siroe”, “Amadigi”, and many more. Among the instrumental pieces, Vivaldi’s Concerto for Recorder and Orchestra “La Notte” and Giovanni Benedetti Platti’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra will be performed.

The concert will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience authentic interpretations of Italian baroque music in the atmosphere of the Cathedral, whose acoustic space enhances the listening experience of this music.
