ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
The period of extreme uncertainty due to the Covid health emergency strongly conditioned the staging of Alcina, which already in April 2020 should have marked the final act of the International Competition for Olympic Voices.
In agreement with maestro Marcon, creator of the competition, Handel’s work is still performed and recorded in high definition at the Teatro Olimpico – with the winners of the competition in the lead roles and with the Venice Baroque Orchestra conducted by Marcon – but without the presence of the public.(Visited 587 times, 1 visits today)
