Canciones clásicas españolas by Fernando Obradors
Fernando Jaumandreu Obradors was born in Barcelona in 1897. Obradors composes some orchestral pieces, but his most famous works are art songs.
Between 1921 and 1941 he wrote 4 volumes of classic Spanish songbooks – called Canciones Clasicas Espanolas. These songs are old folk songs, melodies and poems set to music; some poems date from the 15th century. From these 4 tapes a total of 6 songs are presented in the music film.
