ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS PERFORMANCE
Ajde’s opera is the story of a person lost in the modern world, naively trusting and yearning for acceptance. The path to finding harmony, self-truth, and love for life leads through a dark forest where one must remain vigilant. Whoever comes face to face with their demons will be able to take control of their life.
The title refers to the Serbian folk song “Ajde Jano,” which celebrates an attitude full of joy in life and freedom from anything that might seem to constrain it. “There is nothing greater than mental voyages with your beloved.”
