For the first time on the Lithuanian Opera stage – Benjamin Britten’s opera “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”! Before diving into the enchanting adventure of performing arts, we have the opportunity to touch the experiences of the creators of this production and listen to the music performed by the premiere soloists.
Director Gintaras Varnas and music director and conductor Martynas Stakionis will participate. Excerpts from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed by the premiere soloists Lawrence Zazzo (countertenor) and Lina Dambrauskaitė (soprano), accompanied by Artur Shutov on the piano. The event will be moderated by music critic, senior editor of LRT KLASIKA Rasa Murauskaitė-Juškienė.
