Opera buffa is the first challenge by Japan’s leading composer Shigeaki Saegusa.
A homage to Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” and Richard Strauss’ “Der Rosenkavalier”, this work
depicts a free-spirited romance between a man and a woman in Kamakura.
Directed by Yasushi Akimoto, a leading figure in the entertainment world. The script is by popular writer Mariko Hayashi.
In addition, the staff will be artists representing various fields, and the cast will be singers representing Japan.
