A unique event for art lovers. The Grand Theatre in Łódź has been delighting audiences with opera, ballet and concert performances for over half a century. A unique anniversary concert has been prepared for this occasion, which is a kind of journey in time, recalling memorable moments from the history of the theatre.

Fragments of works such as “Halka” and “The Haunted Manor” by Stanisław Moniuszko, “Prince Igor” by Alexander Borodin and “Carmen” by Georges Bizet will be heard on stage – performances that delighted the audience during their first premieres in 1967. During the concert, maestro Tadeusz Kozłowski, Wojciech Michniewski, Andrzej Knap and Adam Banaszak, who have been associated with the Teatr Wielki for years, will conduct. The best soloists, choir, orchestra and ballet will also perform, who will honor this exceptional anniversary with their performances.
